Can't quote

anybody else not able to quote posts? It keeps saying that the quote wasn't in the original post, even if I haven't touched it. I've tried a few different times on different threads and it doesn't matter if I pick a single word, or a sentence, or keep the quote in it's entirety, I still can't get it to work.
 
wow, and now I try to post Without using quotes, and it goes automatically to a random quote and says

"The following errors were found in your submission:

* The text you are trying to quote does not exist in the originating post."
