Can't get enough speed. any ideas?

The platform is probably around 4 and a half feet when sunk in. I am going to build a rail, but wanted to see if I could get enough speed first. I put soapy water all over the turf before going but I still couldn't get enough speed. Any ideas?

but pices of would on the drop in under the turk .. like 2 by 2s ... so u have less surface friction

also less flat will help a lot. the tranny will be steeper but too much flat will really kill your speed.

yeah when building dry slopes, the shorter distance from the drop in to the ramp the better. move your jump in closer and you will be set for speed

i find if you stay low on your way in then you can keep some more speed. it works really well if you arnt using poles as well.
