skied one day on my new gold chronics because i bought them in the summer... deals :) anyways first day out on them with a pair of looks mounted and by the end of the day the brake on my left ski was bent outwards hardcore... like i hit some rails, some jumps, the regular day of resort skiing. i cant figure out how it would have happened...

it seems like look bindings just arent that good mine broke after landing a rail so i dont understand that why i went to salomon bindings

I've got Rossi scratches and I've damaged the brakes quite a few times. I think it might be landing switch badly, last time it happened the brake got bent out and I couldn't get my inside edge to grip, I was so out of control going across a crowded piste!

i beg to differ, looks are so solid, if u look in any of the threads about what bindings to get its always looks and rossis comin in at 1 and 1a based on personal preference

Probably when you land switch, when the back of the boot rises to the 25mm of elastic travel, it brings the brake down a little and it bends it

yours bend outwards? the only ones ive seen and mine bend inwards so when you snap out of your binding your ski doesnt stop

that happens to me all the time...i just got wide brakes mounted and no more problems! but i have a pub em so its a bit wider.

yea i bent mine, on both my pubs and my lines. then i tried to bend it back but it went back to its place. i had to shove it in so it wouldn't drag, but now i do nto have a brake
