Canon Vixia HF20

I'm looking into buying an hd camcorder, this seems to be the best one for me, but not positive. Looking for great video quality, good memory, good zoom, and be using it mostly to get footage for edits. This would be my first hd camcorder. Are there others around this price that might be worth looking into or is t?

You are spot on on your choice. Nothing will get you better quality video for the same price.. it's not for nothing that everyone claim it's the most-bought consumer HD camera in it's category. GO FOR IT.

By the way, JUST got mine in the mail... incredible. But make sure your computer can support the weight of editing videos from that camera.
