CANON VIXIA HF S10 video camera??

searchbarred and couldn't find much.. but does anyone have experience or know the Canon Vixia HF S10 video camera? I'm thinking about getting it but don't wanna blow my money on something that is no good.

*ALSO : what's your thoughts on Sony Vegas editing system : the highest platinum version.. not the Extremely expensive one.

It seems to be the new hawt camera. Basically an hv30 but AVCHD, which i wouldn't use, but for beginner/amateur video stuff it seems like the new step up from the hv30. But, I'm saying this with no experience with the hfs10, just what I've read about them and my somewhat knowledge of AVCHD vs HDV.
 
i like vegas editing softwware alot, even though i havent upgraded in like 2 years. i saw the new sony vegas 8.0 oor 9.0 or something like that and i think im going to upgrade to it because it looked reall tight. from the looks/reviews it looks like a good buy.
 
Sony Vegas 9 PLatinu isnt really worth it. Its a great program that gives you everything you need but theres a lot of limits like only being able to use 3 video tracks, transitions and effects could be better. Where in the pro version you have none of those limits, way better effects and transitions, you can create 3D movement which is fun to screw around with and you can mask which is fucin awesome.
