Im planning on buying one off of ebay. im looking at the zr 80, zr 85, zr 100 or zr 500. i want to know if anyone was any of these and how they like them
 
i had one of the zr's 70 maybe?

it was sick for how cheap it was but it smashed into a millions and millions of pieces one day.

my bro has this one camera canon, ill get back to you on the model. its recording noise is loud so when you watch the film you can here its gears turning and its annoying
 
I've got a ZR 90 and its alright. Its not the best camera in the world but what you pay for it its pretty decent.

I think personally I would have rather saved more and got like a GL2 or something cause now I feel as though I have outgrown this thing. But if you are just starting out and you dont have that much cash it does just fine.
 
just buy a GL2, seriouslty go 3 chip from the start saves you time, effort, andin the end money.

going 3 chip right away doesn't save you time and money from the start, to find a legit price on a new GL@ is gonna be around $2,000. Also he might not have a need to have such a high quality camera. Also it's good to start out with something more basic first
 
^ no cuz then you want a better quality nicer camera... then you loose all the money you spent on your first camera then have to pay for the next ione, AND you cannn find a GL or VX for 1000 on ebay.
 
that's why you sell your old camera and no you CANNOT find a legit vx2100 or GL@ on Ebay for 1,000 trust me I have tried and have been ripped off. Plus i f you have no idea what you're doing with cameras a semi-pro level 3CCD camera is not the way to start off, trust me I know my shit
 
also if you get a high quality camera like a vx or GL make sure you read the instruction manual, if you don't it's real easy to film and then realize that those shots arer completely unuseable, just thought i'd add that in there
