CANON T4i

Sweet. Yeah touch screen just doesn't work well with cameras in my opinion. I guess they had to change something. Can anyone tell me how much t2is will go down in price?

well no, because the txi series is pretty low end. maybe the 60d or 7d replacement will be ff

I could for sure see them combining the 60d and 7d back into one system at this point, like how it used to be. then in addition there will likely be a FF cam in the $1800 ball park

im pretty stoked about this. after playing with my friends 5d mark ii, i want a ff so bad. hopefully the mark ii will continue to drop in price as the mark iii fills the shelves

Oooh that would be relevant to my interests. Shooting mostly narrative film and landscapes I'm really getting more and more interested in upgrading to full frame. I just need to upgrade my glass first, and I need to get money before that. Crossing my fingers for a scholarship...

I talked to some inside guys today at canon. Heard 1080 60p, and 24fps at 4K resolution. Also, Canon got their heads out of their ass's and disabled the AGC in the firmware. Supposably they fixed a TON of the problems with the Moire. More AF points, and you can shoot 720p and lower resolutions in RAW.

no but really, it will probably be no different then the t3i.

1080 @ 60 frames and the 4k sound like there are some pretty big steps from the t3i if this is true i def will get this over the d3200

The day they put 1080 @ 60fps in an entry level camera is the day i lick my own asshole.

Well he actually messed up and put 4k sound instead of 4k res. I just didn't care enough to point it out. but i had a good laugh.

I didn't make it up i got it from the post right above me..... i know know it isn't true tho :) it was kind of a shock when i saw it and i thought if theres a possibility its true I'm gonna be stoke about it but i guess not

this. theyre gonna change some stupid bullshit and call it a t4i when its really still a t2i with a flip screen.

I dont really understand all of the hate on Canon for the lower end DSLRs.

I thought the t3i was a good upgrade from the t2i. Most people will say it was just a stupid release, but the swivel screen and better layout is well worth the 100 bucks IMO.

I also dont understand all of these kids that want 1080 60p, a Moire fix, and all these upgrades from the t2i as we know it. They are trying to keep it under $900 or so, and all these upgrades would be at lease a few thousand dollars. If you want to get into specifics on why they dont put it on their higher end cameras, then I have no idea, but for entry level cameras such as the t2i, t3i, t4i, 60D, you are expecting WAY to much out of them. Half the people that want all these upgrades wouldnt be able to utilize them as they should be utilized (not saying I can either). The lower end Canons are still great cameras. Stop bitching about them.

/end rant.

How the fuck is anyone suppose to know that? Jesus christ, it already only costs 450 bucks...

Because of the price drops on on txi's when the next one came out. I'm having trouble picking one and I don't have much money. Where can I find it for $450? All I've found is around $550

Benji- Thanks bro already had you at 10

Fuck off eheath it sounds like a good estimate. But seriously, dweeb? Are you trying to sound like a fourth grader?

No, i was calling you a dweeb, because youre drooling over a fact statement that someone said to troll you and he got you because youre a dweeb. Just wait til the camera comes up and see how much the t2i drops in price and WOW you'll know how much the price dropped. Weird how that works.

i lol'd

but seriously, i kinda have to agree with heath to some degree. it's already so cheap, i don't see why kids are in such a rush to see how much more the price will drop. just wait and see. i thought the T2i was a fucking steal when i bought it, and that was early 2010.

haha yeah. i wouldn't necessarily say feels bad, i'm fine with the price i paid for it. but it's crazy that kids are chomping at the bit for the price to drop even more when its already like half what i paid.

I'm on a really tight budget and I can't put a camera high on my list right now. I've always been fascinated with photography so yeah I'm a little impatient but I would chomp at the price if it was even lower. More money I save the better.

I understand why you want it to drop in price, i'm just saying be patient! i don't think anybody here knows the answer so posting it in all caps won't help.

it'll prob drop 30 bucks. It honestly can't drop much more. I picked up my t2i over a year ago for a little over 400 for the body. that's a fucking ridiculous price. I use 7d's and a 5d mark II at work and I prefer my t2i over both
