Canon T4i question

Not really t4i specific but i was wondering if anyone here uses a case while filming, and if you do what type of case do you use (or make)? i'm looking for something to be pretty durable and waterproof obviously, but the problem that remains is that there needs to be an opening for the lens which would still let snow in

If you're just planning on using it on the mountain, it's not really worth it. Just don't be a dunce and your camera will be fine.

i mean, it's not me i'm really worried about. i'm filming in the park so if someone eats shit it can spray on it or even if i want to get a shot of snow getting sprayed toward the camera. i've seen plexiglass boxes covering them but if no one really uses them because they aren't practical then that's it i guess

An underwater case for a T*i camera will run from 1300 to 2400 dollars.

Just use a disposable HEMA bag and a UV filter to protect against spray and snow.

You don't need to do it. I have a T3i and it's gotten sprayed by slush more times than I can count and it's fine. Don't worry about doing some DIY cover for it, you don't need it.
