Canon t2i vs. canon 60d

60D is better for photography too.
basically, as far as video goes, if the flip LCD, audio control, and a better body are worth the increase in price, then go with the 60D. the actual videos themselves will be the same as the sensor is the same in both cameras

the only thing im worried about it not seeing the screen when filming with the t2i because of the non removable screen

too bad patents cost so much like over a grand, probably closer to 10... plus i only know how to use autodesk, i cant draw up circuits or anything. should i bother telling canon about it?

Sources have told me that the t2i with magic lantern is arguably a better camera than the 60d. But I have never used the 60d so I have no clue.

This, plus ive heard a lot of people breaking or damaging the flip out LCD, just too flimsy I guess and when your skiing doing follows or what ever if you fall its screwed...

Just go with the T2i, great quality and price, the technology doesnt really change a ton between the camera and if its your first DSLR then you will need time to get adapted to it anyways and this is the best start up in my opinion...

Spend the money on a variety of lenses

that will be nice, but still if i would recommend someone buy a t2i, get magic lantern and then pick up a lilliput 7" HD monitor for 179$ and it would still be cheaper than a 60d, and you get a larger movable lcd screen

save come money and get the t2i, if you really care about a flip out screen there are ways to make one, ill look around, i found it the other day

i recently had to make this decision and went with the 60d, if you like photography at all its worth it to step up to the 60d for better autofocus and iso performance and a better build quality. everyone needs to stop bitching about how they think the flip out lcd is going to break. almost every "real" video cam has a flip out lcd so how is the 60d any different, not to mention it is extremely helpful for high and low shots

just a question, the t2i is just mad expensive. I realize that the t2i is better just wondering if the gopro will also give me amazing quality. I know it doesnt have the white balance settings that the t2i has cause the gopro has very little settings. sorry forget i asked

the T2i is actually incredibly cheap.
i mean i hate to say this, and no hate intended, but you do sound like you should probably go with the gopro. for now at least. you probably shouldn't be considering a camera like the T2i until you understand all the features it has that make it better than a gopro (and white balance isn't necessarily one of the more important ones)

i fully understand that. I just have never used a gopro or even played around with one.i realize that the t2i is one of the cheapest dslr cameras. I just have never got a nice hd camera and i plan on doing that. i know that there are many features on the t2i that i am unaware of but i mean i can always learn that shit.

alright, you just have to understand that it sounds a little strange to us when somebody compares
