Alright, didn't think I'd be selling this cam anytime soon, but I came

across an impossible to turn down deal for a better cam, so I am

selling my 'old' (used 1 season) cam.

With that said here's the details:

-Canon Optura XI, works perfect, apart from a couple sets of scratches on the camera body it's in perfect condition.

-Basic wide angle and telephoto lens (nothing special, but they do the job).

-Custom made (and fucking awesome, let me tell you) camera handle.

-Camera bag.

-regular AND extra long battery (as seen in the picture below)

-remote and other random accessories that come with it.

The

cam was over a grand new with everything I'm including, the camera was

used to film East to West last year and that's pretty much all it was

ever used for. I'm looking for reasonable offers if anyone is

interested.

that's

the cam with handle (the remote was never used on the handle, just in

that pic), not recent so it doesn't show the cosmetic damage, but I can

get pics if people want them.

Included:

-Canon Optura XI

-1 standard battery

-1 long life battery

-1 car/wall battery charger

-wide angle (and macro) lens

-2x telephoto lens

-1 Camera bag

-all origanal documentation

-power cord

-other size step down rings for lenses

-1 goggle sleeve (used to house the wide angle lens since 1 of the lens caps went MIA... as you can see below, it works perfect because the lens is still in mint condition.

I've also shown the only cosmetic damage I can find on the camera

Also included are the custom built handle and screw needed to fix the camera to it (shown in origanal post), remote control, and a 16 mb SD card for taking stills with the camera.

I can make you handles easily (and custom at that matter)... message me if you wanna do this.

I'm not an expert, but every review I read said it was better quality than 3 CCDs in the same price range, but those were all from a few years ago when this was new, so who knows now. It was definitely good quality.

cause im seriously considering buying this as an upgrade for an optura 50. i just dont know if it will really be an "upgrade". But i really love canon and their "prosumer" quality and ease of operation (also customizeable settings). any other suggestions?

I'm a big fan of Canon stuff, so maybe see what is available that's 'old', that is a new camera but the model has been around for couple years (like the Pani 100A). Those are gonna be the best deals for quality cameras. Canon and Panisonic are my preferences, but everyone has their own opinion on cameras. Look at www.buydig.com, that's the place I've always found the best prices, and I've bought 3 cameras through them and can't complain about a damn thing.

ya, i really love canon and dislike sony for some reason. i've never used pannys or JVC or any others. Canon is just the easiest to use.

sony has a shitty touchsreeen which is a bitch, and the manual controls on the canon are just right for me.

however recently my optura 50 died and they wanted like 200 for repairs and its not worth it. besides, its time for an upgrade.
