Canon hv20 or jv gz hd7

im torn between the two i can either get the canon hv20 or the jvc everio for about 100 dollars more. ill being doing a lot of handheld filming and im starting to get into videoography (sp) so please share your thoughts
 
sorry, kinda forgot to post a reason. hv20 is sick if your computer has like 2 gigs of ram. i have the hv20 and the cmos puts out some fine ass colors.
 
The HV20 is making a name for itself even with the big guys. There are even 35mm adapters for it now, something that was only available for "professional" level cameras up til this. Get the HV20 for sure. Oh and the fact that you need a better computer to work it is probably a good sign, seeing as how fast computers are improving I wouldnt worry too much about it. We are all going to have to get new computers every couple years anyway, so get the canon and then your other equiptment can grow into it. Look at it as the foundation, better quality in = better quality out :)
 
ya lots of pro skate filmers are using adding it to there film equipment quiver. like for long lens shots, it pwns.
