Canon hf s10 or hf 200?

i dont know anything about the hfs10. but i got a hf200 and its great. i got it for 530 and i have had absolutely no problems with it. The only thing is, that you have to buy some flash memory for it. but its deffinitally worth it. i say get the hf200, and spend the rest on lenses, tripod, memory. etc. but thats just my 2 cents.

yup. I work off one at school and the footage is pretty good. one thing though is that it is not a fan of low light at all and you will notice it in the quality of the footage

The main difference is the sensor size, hf200 is 1/4"CMOS and hfs10 is 1/2.7"CMOS. Honestly, 400 bucks for a much better sensor (same as hv20/30/40) is worth it, IMO.

It has to be purchased separately. i picked up a 4gb at walmart for 15 bucks and it holds 20 minutes of max quality footage. not bad for 15 bucks.

i just purchased a hf200 today. The quality is great and memory is not an issue by having sd cards around. The only downside to the camera is the battery life, so make sure you purchase an extra to have.

it comes down to if your on a budget or not honestly. save money and get a good or spend money and get a better. youll be happy with both either way

im looking into getting the hf200 too, does anyone have a wide angle lens for it? i was wondering what the image looked like.
thanks

yeah, im thinking of getting the hf s10, real sick looking, and me and my friend are going to make a steady cam ourselves, that we are going to share, going to make some sick edits!
