Canon HF R100?

Alright, so I've been in the market for a camera for a little while. I want an HD camera 1080p 60fps, however I have a low price range (trying to keep it under $400) and will mostly be using this camcorder for shooting skiing, backyard and on the slope. After some research I've found that this looks like a good camera.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this camera, what their thoughts were.

I would also love to hear any recommendations for good cameras that meet my broad criteria. Thanks for looking!

well its got an image sensor smaller than most phones, and it only records 60i, not 60p. It doesn't even do native 30p. I don't have experience, but i can tell you now that that camera will not give you the best footage you've ever seen

but you could get an hf200 for $549. im pretty sure its a 58mm thread, and if im right you can use my fisheye for some edits if you want
