Canon GL-2 or GL-1

The Gl1 is a lot older than the Gl2. My friend has a gl1, and its not bad, but it just needed like a whole deck replacement. I would say go with a gl2, its going to last longer, and will be better because it has more options
 
Correct, it is much older technology.. I use to have a Gl2 and it was perfect for what i used it for (car videos) but then i sold it because i didnt need it anymore, but it definately is a great purchse if you buy one. You can prolly try and find a nice used one for some what cheap.
