Canon DSLR's battery life

Hey Media and Arts,

I am recording a 48 hour time lapse for a chemistry project with a canon 7d, batter grip, and intervalometer timer.

Does anyone know if the battery will last that long on the camera and the intervalometer with those 2 AAA batteries?

If not, is there an external way I can draw power?

You're probably going to need to switch the batteries every 12 hrs or so, maybe ever 8hrs.

This, missing 1-2 photos won't drastically affect your timelapse.

hmm... that's gonna suck though.

Wish I could just leave it at home for a few days..
