Canon 7D edit

anyone make one yet. I search barred 7d and only saw a ton of questions and one random misc. compilation of shots from the beach. not helpful. im seriously thinking about getting one and im wondering how good they do as far as filming SKIING goes. I know the quality is amazing on tripods and for just still stuff, but im interested to see how they do when youre moving around and stuff, oh and some slow mo shots. those are always cool too

just passing through europe was all on a 7D and wait for team canadas vid lots of the shots will be on a 7d.

have you guys had any problems with the codecs? i feel like i heard/read some where that they were kind of a pain to deal with. also, did you guys buy one of those steady cam bars that you can attach to cameras that dont come with one built on for your follow cam segments. i realize that you used a tripod for some shots

Are yoou kidding me? Those two guys KILLED IT in that edit! Holy shit! Big BIG UPS to you, sick filming, sick vibe to the edit, and UNREAL skiing! +++++++++++K

Its a great cam, but i feel like it limited by a few things but i would probably get the hpx if i was in your position.

I would suggest the HMC150 actually if you are going to spend that kind of money.

this kind of talk is kinda why i created the thread. why? im kinda looking for a few con's to the 7d. all that ive heard so far have been amazing reviews and no real negative ones. and im sure theres a reason that not everybody is switching over to the camera
