Canon 40D

So I know there are a lot of threads out there about cameras and shit, but when I used the searchbar nothing came up about the 40D. What do you know about it, I've been doing a lot of research on it and shit but I want to hear what other skiers think about it as an action/sports camera. If you don't like it, what would you suggest?

i have it, its great for sports. its not a fullframe still, dont think that series will be for quite a while though... but anyways, its great. what else you want to know bout it?

tokina 10-17 mm

canon 50 mm 1.8

canon 70-200 mm 4.0

and canon 17-85 mm

works like a charm.

My 40D is awsome, it works perfectly in the cold, i have a battery grip with 2 batteries which helps heaps. shutter speed is great for shooting skiing.

awesome camera. its pretty rugged, has a nice 3in screen, 6.5fps (burst up to 75 pics!), self cleaning sensor. perfect camera for outdoors, sports and snow, just go buy it.

Shutter speed? Don't you mean fps? If you have those mixed up you probably don't need a 40d.

i have one, love it!! takes awesome pictures, just gotta make sure u get a good lens though.
