CANNON 12-13

all winter baby! so pumped, just hope we get some snow this year! I'm sure Lars has new plans for the park too! Should be a good time
 
stoked for this season at cannon! i will be that guy skiing on fatypus allotas almost everyday, say hi when you see me, i wont be hard to miss
 
for sure! they cut the island between lower Cannon and the park, so it should be interesting on what it looks like

 
Yeah when i actually think it through that was definitely the right decision. Another week of cold before opening should mean way more terrain.
 
ill be there with a few friends, i will be wearing a blue jacket and skiing on fatypus allotas, im hard to miss
 
im gonna be in a red/grayish jacket with line prophet 90's or old beater invaders. ill be the one who is shitty at park, im just starting to get into it this year

excited to get up to cannon next weekend, hope the weather does not do too much damage to all the snow they were able to make this week!
 
great day, highly recommend going up! the park was super fun! it was great to hit some jumps, Lars did a great job
 
hoping that with colder temps coming in tomorrow night, they will be able to make a ton of snow and the conditions will start to get better!
 
yep they lost it all from last week, the mountain is all bare again except where they made snow. looks like some cold temps sticking around all this week though
 
Guys, just a heads up, I was skiing with tgm on Sunday and one of our friends came really fucking close to getting his new Atomic Punx stolen....

We went in the Peabody lodge for about 20 minutes and when we came back out they were missing, so we all freaked the fuck out and ran around the parking lot looking for someone trying to carry them away. After an hour or so we were ready to give up, we told guest services about it and they said the police would get involved in two to three days...

On the way back to the car, for some reason, our other friend just happened to look in a car parked not 20 feet away from ours and saw them sitting in the back. This dumbass decided to keep skiing and leave my friend's shit in plain sight... anyway, we called the cops, the Franconia police chief staked out until the guy came out to his car, he interrogated him, my friend got his skis back, and retard boy has a court hearing scheduled next week.

Moral of the story is, you might want to consider locking your skis this weekend in case this guy has any friends. At least space them out a little bit if you go inside.
 
damm, id figure cannon wouldnt be as bad for theft, good thing you caught that guy, yeah im def gunna separate my skis, idk i might even lock them when i use my on3ps

 
right? it's the friendliest mountain i know, i've never had a problem there until sunday. I'll take it as a wake-up call and start locking my shit for a while.

im hoping to go up this weekend, i bet its gunna be pretty bullit proof, ill probably be rocking a red/white/blueish under armor jacket and skinnies, maybe on some on3ps ;)

but hopefully they open middle cannon up so its not congested

and i heard news of a pipe bender, and maybe a S rail and some more kinks or something! should be cool sense lars has a budget to work with this year
 
Hey man, I just watched all of your videos. You guys are unreal. Putting cannon on the map. I hope I can be as good as you one day haha. Keep it up. Hopefully I'll see you around sometime.

yeah it definately would be sick if there was a huge park scene at cannon. its such a great mountain and its only like an hour an a half away for me. i will definitely say hi if i see you. i ski in a white jacket.
 
yeah they have been working to make it better, its probably not ever going to be like waterville or loon but if they make it better, then the park combined with the all mountain will be epic
 
didn't APF run the homecoming event last year? i definitely remember you guys getting a shoutout or something
 
basically same as two weekends ago except its now on the other side of the trail. it goes flat-down box, flat box, jump or pole jam. the best part about today was the trails. they were blowing snow on gremlin and easy link so there were huge, soft whaletails to jump off. middle cannon had tons of snowmaking on it and will open tomorrow. lower cannon and garys were icy because i dont think they have blown any snow on it since the freeze. overall it was fun and i would say it will be even better by the weekend, but the park is no better than it was 2 weeks ago, hope this helps
