Cannon 10/11

Cannon lost quite a bit of snow this weekend. Main trails were bare. Theres nothing in the park now, instead theres 5 big rollers and the flat box over by tuckerbrook , I really dont understand the point of this, its such a waste of snow.
 
probably because thats the beginner park and for some odd reason beginner parks always have rollers. i guess they help you progress to hitting jumps? i dont know but i was there thursday and all they had was a kicker and 2 flat boxes and rollers
 
they had stuff in the park....but they took it out because there starting snowmaking on the real park.....and yes the little park is totally for little kids....andi agree with you guys that the ski the east freeride tour should get to cannon....if it was on tramline it would be soo sick....its such a fun trail
 
i just used the software that came with my computer its like windows movie maker it sucks i wanna get another edting software..i got like 100 one 2 years ago but i lost the cd :( and i need a better camera! but thanks i thought it came out good and my brothers are amazing haha
 
yeah i use movie maker and i havent figured out how to clip and put music in yet. so all i know how to do is put clips together. im learning though

that was sick! monday was sick though...but tuesday was still pretty sick too...was that all with a gopro?

and dave....yeah its crazy gnraly and i doubt you could find it unless you went with someone
 
anyone have a status as to what mittersill and Cannon BC areas are looking like? You think it's a lost cause heading over there even with this storm aproaching?
 
nope its open and super amazing....caint wait to do gunsite with cgski3...havnt done it yet this year but its the most amzing trail
 
gunsitecis kinda like chads gap.....you cant just go hit it......you gotta go with people who have done it a few times
 
gunsite is a hiking trail in the summer right?

i fell like i have seen those places before and i hiked cannon on the kinsman ridge trail this summer. does gunsite go down the top of that trail?
 
nope....it goes by the hiking trail for like 2 secs......and your hiking by it so you dont see the trail at alll
 
anyone been up there this weekend? wondering how it's looking. If it's alright, i'd like to hit it tuesday. don't want to drive all the way up there if it's shitty though.
 
I was there today (thursday) and mittersill was pretty ugly with all the traffic. The morning skiing in general was great though. Global Warming was really nice early on, didn't hit it in the afternoon. That snow was a work out! not used to that stuff at all.
I was in a red jacket, black pants, 07 Fujatives.

 
im so glad this is the year i decide to spend 6 weeks in europe where there is no snow and cannon finally gets dumped on over winter break, cant wait to get back there!
 
yeah i bet mittersille got tracked fast....ill be there all weekend in a purple coat....blue pants and maybe a saga vest
 
going up sunday and monday, hopefully hitting some glades on mittersill, any one know what the park looks like?
 
cannons new park is sweet!!!! like igs pretty good! they got a down rail...flat box up box trap box thrn on the other zide have like a 40 footer into 30 footer...then At the bottom has a bunch of hips and little jumps and one super nice 45 ish jump
