So i just put 3 grams of some nice bud into 9 cookies. I just ate 3 and I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with edibles and could tell me what to expect.
 
would have been better off just smoking the 3 grams lol edibles are only worthwhile if you have good shake or shitty BHO

You made oil and didnt toss ground shit in... right? I've had a few brownies, started feeling it after about 30 minutes off like two bites. Good time. Also had gummies from a legit dispensary, it was fucked. You should've smoked it. The brownies I use to have were made with oil from half an O. I wouldnt eat a whole cookie though, just start small and work into it depending on how you feel an hour later.

Lol selling 3 grams or 9 cookies will get you nowhere. Selling weed will net you very little profit in general unless you're pushing zips/packs. Good luck.
 
Did you make cannibutter first? You have to infuse the weed into the butter then bake the cookies or else it doesn't work. THC is oil soluble not cookie dough soluble. So if you didn't do that then expect nothing to happen.

Also, nugget should ALWAYS be deoxycarbolized before going into oil/butter, no reason not to.

I paid 20 for the weed and already sold 2 cookies for $5 each (and ate 2). If i sell them all then ill profit $15 and as im saying this i realize thats shit.

Get a pyrex dish, tinfoil, a double boiler, unsalted butter, a oven therometer for 2nd checking, and the cookie mix that requires a stick of butter and I'll point you in the right direction. Also, ask your dealer to buy his shake at a discount.

I recently made 2 sticks of cannabutter out of 20g of shake. First step was decarbing at 240 degrees for 60 mind. Then I used a double boiler. I'll explain that if you want to try again.

Two batches of cookies yielded approx 25 cookies. Estimate 10% of thc (easy math) that is 20000mg×.10=2000mg then divide by the amount of cookies. That's 40mg a piece and they were great. One was a nice buzz for 2 hours or so. One and a half was enough to make you rethink all of the mistakes in your life.

In your case 3g equals 3000mg multipled by 10%(actually more for flower verses nug if goodies) is 300. Divided by 9 cookies is 33mg. That's a low estimate

Yeah maybe buy like an ounce, and double a recipe chocolate chip cookies so it makes about 56, so you have .5 grams in each, then sell them 3 for $20 and profit $200.

Also make them properly so you don't get shit kicked and waste $200 worth of pot.
 
i find the best thing to use for edibles is reclaim from dabs. there was a whole discussion about it on fuckcombustion. for whatever reason it seems to be more potent than just decarboxylating fresh oil or weed, and its free depending on what way you look at it.

no need to cook it, or add to fat. you can just sprinkle it onto things cold.

That's because reclaim is decarb'ed already. That's what it is, oil that was heated enough to activate a fair amount of the THC but didnt vaporize on the nail.

you mean decarboxylate? and it's 100% pointless to do if you're going to be cooking with it since the heat from cooking will decarboxylate the THCA.

lol my b, used google to check and that came up and I didnt read it over. Ive made 25-35batches of edibles and ive always found pre-activated to work better, ive found the same to be even more true with oil which makes little sense to me

I disagree based on experience and the hours of reading I did before last batch of cookies I made. I made them in the past and they were eh. Borderline no feeling. So I did tons of research and I decarbed the last batch at 245 degrees for 60 min and one cookie gets me stoned. I used 20g of shake for 2 sticks of butter. The theory you presented has been disproved.

Does shake work just as well as bud.
 
I have to eat at least 100mg of thc to feel anything. Edibles are not really worth it unless you have a med card to get doses that high for reasonable pricing.

Maybe youve just never had proper MG in edibles (a lot of the labeled doses are bullshit)

My buddy was just like this "i dont waste my money on edibles because they dont do anything to me. ever"

Well, had him eat a 100mg summit bar, then I squirted 100mgs of mouth drops into his mouth. He wasnt able to go skiing the next day hahaa

1g equals 1000mg and if it were at least 10% thc and cooked correctly you would be eating 100mg. A 100mg cookie will wreck most people (if actually cooked right)

I need at least 100mg to get real stoned, but I intake a lot of THC so my tolerance is fucked. When I lived in WA I would pick up a 200mg box of trail mix and munch that all at once and it would get me lit as fuck. My friends mom used to make these delicious raspberry or strawberry filled cuocakes with medicated cupcake and medicated frosting. Probably like 30-50 mg each but they were so tasty I'd put down like 3 or 4 lol.

Well not really I ate 4 and it was pretty fun. But it was more of a intense body high and little mind high. probably messed up making the butter. Hopefully they go better next time.
 
Does anybody want to point me to a good recipe for brownies, or give tips to make them as potent as possible? I see a lot of recipes claiming you need different amounts. I'm using fire nugz btw. Not shake.

actually you can do this with vaped weed. i threw in about .5 g of AVB into a single cookie, baked it like you normally would, and it had me couch locked in 30 minutes.
