there was a profile of candide on ex tv today, and it was sick, but they said he was producing his own ski film called rastafaria or sumthin. Anyone heard about it? some of the footage looked old, some new.

I haven't heard anything about his own film but during the WSI in Whistler he seemed to have his own camera man in the super park. I didn't get to see what they were filming on, could have been 8mm or 16mm or something. Did anyone else notice?

 
he made is own movie for this season with just him in it and a bunch of reggae beats... so i'm guessing he's doing the same for next season. i haven't seen the video but i've seen reviews and stuff.

I remember him once saying that he was worried about ski movies putting in bad stuff, so he decided to film with his friends. I think they supplied the film companies with what they made.

 
yea he sells some of his footage to film companies and stuff, but he actualy made his own video this year...

yea well apparently he made 1.5 million for switching to salomon, and he hired his own filmer for these movies. when he was at hood the guy would just film him for like 5 hours and they would just leave. just another day at work for candide

the film he made last year was called called rastafaride he and his friend made it, it has skiing snowboarding and skateboarding in it i think,its to reggae read about it in 2 magazine.

 
lol he doesnt make 1.5 mil.. but yea hes smart tho to control his image and put out what he wants out..it makes sense bc everyone would want him in their video so he can set high prices

i have my own filmer dude - but i think we're talking about a different industry here... i'm a porn star. funny thing is - so is jeff and dave, but again, they are in a different industry they are in the gay porn industry.

 
i have seen the trailer to rastafa ride and it looks heaps sick, i could watch candide ski for hours he is the super style king, his d-spins blew the world away.
