Candide´s 2 ski adds in one mag

In the last Freeze there´s Candide Thovex with an Add with Salomon and his add with Rossignol.

I know the story behind it all, but I just wanna know if anyone else found this amussing.

 
I thought that was weird also. You would think that if Rossi had enough time to get an add in, Salomon would have had enough time to pull the add.

But then again, the product does exist and they need to sell it somehow.

It was such a burn to salomon, we could not have even planed it better.

In ski contracts, if you leave a company in the time frame of that contract, in many cases the prior company has advertising rights and print rights to use your name and pics to promote their products for the duration of the intial contract. Salomon may continue to use Candide for the rest of the season. Especially if their artwork and print media has been completed. Advertising contracts for the entire season with big companies like Salomon are done well before even the first mag hits the newstands most of the time.

^^thats funny there print work has to be all done, the add of Candide in the Freeze is the same add they had at the end of last season but with his promodel in the pic instead.
