He over does his tail grabs a bit to much but when you dont see them too oftern there cool...

He is insane and taking the sport new places...

Everyone likes different styles, we could be talking about any skier, and the same conversation will happen... Say i don't like tanner, ( which i don't ) people will say THE GORILLA STEEZE IS THE SHIT or smoething along those lines... so basically, as some guys said up there, yes, we care, but everyone has different opinoins, and personally, i don't wana read 10 000 of them on one post...

i love the fact that he doesnt care what the norm of tricks are, he will go out of his way to innovate...ie cork 5 with 3 grabs, and yeah like everyone else says, in an age where not many pros cross up anymore, all of his tricks are...

well i understand every one loves candide and i used to give him heaps of credit for going HUGE!!.......................but then he did a butter7 and he just tries to spin off everything as much as he can...........he does do great flares

candide kills it. who cares if he did a butter7 and spun fast. did you ever think he was just playing around? not everything done on skis and everything in videos has to be dead serious. it can be fun too. if you have ever seen candide just riding on a normal day, it is amazing. he'll go through a park and do runs that would place in comps all day long, and he has everything dialed. candide is so good it's just amazing. nobody can talk shit on him.

 
The definition of style is not 'Gorilla steeze', so just because candide doesnt ski like an ape like all the other trendie pros right now, doesnt mean he doesnt have style.

 
wow default, do you ever go skiing not for fun? why would we be doing any of this if it wasnt for fun? of course everything doesnt have to be serious. it shouldnt be.

 
Whether you think he is unstylie or not doesn't really matter, because everyone has to agree that he is progressing the sport in new and huge ways that many other people can't come to duplicate or approach. Personally I think he has a sick style, tweaked out crosses are dope, alot of straight style is easier also. Candide is one of the most tech guys out there in terms of grabs (tweaked and what not, opposite hand tail, fuck me that shit is hard) and in terms of difficult tricks over immense distances, so yea, actually i guess it does matter that you don't think he is stylie, cause you are wrong, candide is one of the premiere skiiers of our generation, so help me god.

candide is the shit. i mean, 900 tru tails, damn. and that butter seven was awesome, so what if he tried to spin as fast as he could, thats damn hard to do. not every trick has to be a big slow spin with a safety grab.

 
i was at x-games last year and he was shitting on everyone else in the pipe. watching him was one of the most amazing things i've ever seen

 
candide has probably the best 'skier' technique out there. someone said before that what everyone thinks is 'tylie' is the smooth, slow (snowboarding) style. but everyone here is a skier, and in terms of technical (and therefore visual) style, candide is THE best. he tweaks his tricks to an insane level - noone can do tails like him, and he stomps just about every landing he attempts. he also has mad switch skills. so when someone accuses a skier like candide for not being 'stylie' they need to just shut the fuck up and go work on their own skills. (not that i'm a mad skier or anything, but still, u get my point)

I know Candide, I've seen him riding in la Cluzaz and I can tell you he is the only one who throw so huge clif set ups. Furthermore at the age of 14 he was doing some moguls and was already throwing 900 and shit like that.

So, plz Candide has a unique style either u like either u don't but monkey style sucks

OK most people are getting the werd (notice werd, not word) STYLE and bieng SMOOTH confused....

Candide in my opinion is consistant and smooth but he needs to mix up his style if you like, to make him more stylie? i mean, Pep is stylie, becuase he mixes it up all the time... Where as Candide, i've never seen him do any other grab than a mute and Toxic/blunt what ever..

his style is so awsome, like as he turns switch and out of switch, he does it super fast, like he will go into a jump regular, but right as he gets to the jump, he doez a full speed 180, and does some insante switch trik. Sure that for certain things the 'gorrila steeze' is cool, but it takes more skill and control to ski like candide...

i like candide's style. i respect nearly all the pro's different styles....except tanner's. he is a joke. i hate the 'style' in which he skis. i think he is the worst thing that has ever happened to skiing. period. (yes, worse than neon one-piece suits)

in my oppinion candide has a sick stylle. it is different from everyone elses which is awesome. he goes bigger than anyone else on skis so shut your mouth
