Candide thovex win freeride world tour

Even if he won in 2000 he landed chad's first which is a big air title unto itself. So stoked he's back at it!
 
Congratulations Candide! So great to have you back at it. FWT Champ is pretty impressive amongst all the X games medals too! Yes in 2000 he won big air.
 
Congrats for him.I really wish he was doing Redbull Coldrush, I feel like he could do really well with that.
 
-won xgames doing a dspin 9 when practically everyone else was just learning 540s

-first to trick chads

-his first promodel ski had a sandy vagina on it

-cleared and tricked that massive mammoth super park hip that nobody thought you could clear.

-started high speed pipe skiing

-pretty much started tricks off of rails

- now this

im sure the list goes on. we are lucky to have him skiing.

 
He won in 2000. Candide, you are amazing! And Xavier de le Rue just won the Snowboard FWT :) So yeah, I wanna thank all the French skiers for this amazing year and for making us dream.

The top 3 is so close – the points go like this, you can take away the worst result

so Candide wins with a 1., 2. and a 3.

Kaj get a 1., 2. And 5

Henrik get a 1., 3. And a 4.

If all the 4 results would be in the final result then Henrik would win with Kay in 2. And Candide in 3.



Henriks run at tram face and candide at Chamonix was the best in my book and kaj skis with such a nice flow.
 
That's fucking insane, like a lot of park skiers can ride pow, but freeride world tour is on a completely different level, thats some really serious skiing, and you can get really fucked up if you don't know what you're doing. Huge respect for Candide for pulling this off. His park skills and this make him the greatest in my books. Absolutely unbelievable.
 
Fuck it, he should pull a Jon and try out for the French race team. Not that he has anything more to prove at this point, though.

Candide is amazing, no doubt he's one of the most well rounded skier ever if not the one! And check Delerue's line it's the most impressive of the comp!

Candide is a close second to LL Cool J.
But damn...to dominate the park scene, and then to take those skills to serious, no-fall, high consequence shit is just unbelievable. Especially to do so after one of the worst crashes/injuries imaginable...what an inspiration.
I wonder if in Candide's mind this is the greatest achievement of his career...Congrats!
We NEED a full segment from Candide this year.
 
Candide is such a unique skier.. really an other level.. his runs look so sick and nice!

But still I think Henrik should have won..
 
Sorry for the dubble post, but Candides run looked sooo nice... in m opinion better than kajs but he..

“Every one says I am the rookie, but I’m not! I have always been freeriding, since I was a kid. I am a skier. Freestyle, freeride, I ski whatever I enjoy. I have been inspecting the Bec des Rosses face really thoroughly. I was quite nervous and impressed by this big, committed face. It was really impressive at the top. Xavier de Le Rue gave me a lot of advice at the start – he was so confident and I was pretty nervous. I chose an easier jump in the end as my legs were so tired. I wanted to do the Freeride World Tour because it is just great to ski with riders like Auélien Ducroz, Kaj Zackrisson, Henrik Windstedt and Julien Lopez. I am astounded to be surrounded by such amazing athletes.”

and Kaj's line in Verbier was ill. Respect. high, high consequence.

If only Candide and Henrik were at Red Bull Cold Rush.
