Lol one company is made up of respected ex-pro skiers who want to make the world a better place through eco friendly skis (and they ship with unbleached paper instead of plastic, minimal packaging, and recycle old skis for a discount on your new pair). The other company doesn't do anything eco friendly that I'm aware of and just markets average outerwear the easiest way possible to the average out-of-the-scene skier/snowboarder.
WNDR is doing better than ever from what I can tell. They're moving toward snowboarding as well, which I can support 100%. Might buy one of their splitboards someday

Travis Rice is on Lib Tech and there was some overlap when Travis and Candide were on Quiksilver at the same time. My money is on him building his own ski, but wouldn't be surprised if he joined Lib Tech bc of some previous connection like this.
