Candide Skis

Base graphics are a weird choice and a bit random imo.

Interested in who builds them for him and how they ski.
 
Are faction gonna be making them? Cuz if so I think they are gonna be a scam, currently on the website one model goes for 1200 cad I believe but are you paying 1200 cuz there is something special about them or are you paying 1200 cuz they say candide on them? This isn’t diss to faction or candide the skis look clean af I’m just curious on them
 
If I were to take a gander: because it says candide and because there was such hype from the CT series too. I don’t doubt they will be fun skis but I very much imagine they’re made in a factory that also sells $500 skis

Apparently the skis are made in Poland. The most likely candidate in this country would be Nobile (used to make Faction skis, they also produced for Majesty and Zag, I don't know if they still do).

Sold out so quickly with 10 references (3 models, 3 to 4 sizes), I think it was a tiny volume.

It may be Candide, but I don't think his name sells as much as it might have in the past. As a reminder, his CandideCo outerwear brand has so far been a commercial failure.

Yes and no- I think Candide Co has been a failure because the jackets are $500+. People are way more likely to buy a new pair of $800 skis if they see how Candide skis on them over an overpriced jacket just to look like him.

What do you consider a tiny volume?

I'm not sure about minimum order quantity for skis but I have some idea. He probably worked out a deal for the first year, multiple small production slots throughout the year.

Nobile is a well known production company, solid quality. I'm pretty sure they still produce for those brands you mention. There are not that many places to go for ski production.
