Looks sick, has anyone been able to test them or review any of the skis?

was some japanese peeps on them earlier this year, link to the article in gear rumour thread. think someone on here was saying stiffer than would expect.

I’m thinking about getting my first touring setup and I want to ski like Candide so the BC model looks great. Probably not gonna cop any time soon but just a thought.

Holy shit ! Expensive but might be worth ??‍♂️

I would’ve expected them to cost more. Most quality all mountain and freeride skis are 700€+ nowadays.

didn’t know what to expect but all 3 models actually look pretty fun to ski, crazy rocker profiles and not too heavy overall. Definitely can’t afford them any time soon but would love to see some people shredding them

They need to make bigger sizes for resort and bc skis. Same problem with other brands, not a lot of 189+ skis in the 95-110mm range.

the resort is pretty close to the ct 2.0 but addrd rocker. and it looks like its made in the same factory with the same top sheet material. but unsure.

Hard to hate on solid graphics, but now we have 1000, Season, and Candide with solid color topsheets.

Minimal graphics is the major trend in all of design right now. Not surprising that new companies hop on it.

What prices do you see? They are 649/749/849 euro?

would be funny if they were made with faction's

Faction doesnt have their own factory but it wouldnt surprise me if they come from one of their manufacturers.

This is unlikely, as Faction has consolidated most of it's manufacturing to the Amer/ Atomic facility. That said, it could be one of the OE factories that Faction has Used in the past. Sporten, NBL, Nobile (probably not Fischer, though) are all likely candidates.

The issue this new line would face is minimum order quantities (MOQs), so Candide would need to partner with a smaller manufacturer. Tony McWilliams (also formerly of Faction) has been consulting with Candide on this project, so I am sure they are working with a quality, boutique factory...

That said, faction IS not the best quality...

factions warranty policy is insane though. i bought 1 pair of CTs on pro form and they warrantied them and then they warranted the warranty set after i skied for 3 seasons on them and they were beat lol. 3 skis for the price of 0.5 was pretty rad
