without the smallest little bit of doubt CANDIDE IS SO MUCH BETTER. i'll admit that tanner is stylier, but candide is by far the better all around skier

Each stand out in their own aspects. Tanner is an excellent athlete. He worked hard to get where he is and when competitions come along, it shows. His dedication and progression have been pushing this sport. Then there's candide. Candide is on his own level. He has his own dedication, his own style, and vision for skiing.

Both are leading our sport and both have their own area of expertise. Why not just leave it at that?

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

 
if we are talking about freestyle skiing then tanner hall... Candide goes big I guess, but he is so unstylie that it just ruins it! I mean I geuss its a matter of preference who's style you like but personally I hate watching candide ski.

^^^candide is unstylie???? He has one of the best styles in the world. His cork 3s or whatever these are, are so awesome. He def. has style. Tanners monkey style is not the big stuff. Candide is where its at.

everyone thinks tanner is like a park rat, but he grew up skiing bc and he says that's where its at for him. I like them both.

Candide definitely, he can do everything. He is probably one of the best all aroudn skiers out there, he can do everhting. One thing that stands out with him is in French Toast he does a 360 off this little jump lands then drops another 3 off this 40 ft cliff, he wasnt on the ground anymore than asecodn in between. That takes some serious skills.

do you guys really think Tanner isn't a good skier? He is a great bump skier, can rip powder, and has amazing style. And I have to agree with MikeE on this one, Candide's mutes and stuff look terrible conpared to the tweakage and smoothness of tanner. Just me though

tanner, in my opinion. however, candide still has style, to whoever said he doesn't. watch his cork 3 opposite mute on the huge cliff step-up and tell me it doesn't have style.

candides style is totally different than tanners though. It's kind of a 'huck it' style, while tanner is like more smooth and slower style.

i gotta give it to candide. i remember watching him for the first time on Chad's Gap and that was it. he redifines what can be done of skis. he makes 540s look like 180s and has a very unique style...but don't get me wrong tanner is amazing as well but he just doesn't have the full package that candide has. yeah tanner is starting to do some bc stuff but candide already has that down, as well as park, pipe, and rediculas rail feats.

 
There so many skiers that are hoovering around the same level and killing it everywhere.

Pep Fujas? Eric Pollard? Hedrick Windset is a super underated all around rider, Jon Olsson, there's a hand full of others.

I think GhostDragon Hit the nail on the coffin on this issue. There all dope in there own aspects and mos have there 'own' style and visions of the sport.

Why does it matter? Aren't we all just out there skiing for the love of skiing? Does it really matter who has more style? As long as they are out there getting paid to do something they love, I think that they are both fucking good.

I still think Candide is the best all around, but I will have to agree with how Henrik is underated in this area. He used to compete world cup moguls, plus he throws down just as well as the top guys.

 
I think that Candide, Tanner, Jon, Pep and Pollard are all at a level above everyone at this point, each for own reasons. There is some right behind them too, but I think it is hard to say out of those five fellas which one is better.

people think that cuz tanner aint the youngest of the riders ne more hes not as good. ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? no1 has done more for the sport than him, and he has one of the best styles out.

just because hes concentrating on BC and styly tricks now doesnt mean he couldn't still mix it with the best. and in all the comps he does still go in he goes sick.

I don't think Tanner or Candide care, they both go out skiing to ski. Nobody lands like Jon Olsson, he can just spot it and stick it like he never even left the ground.
