Candide newest pro model .....not with rossignol

He DID win, and then they didn't make them. along with the other three.

is everybody missing the obvious. there is a big rossignol sign behind him at the Candide invitational. and the bindings are rossi. he would not have a rossignol sign behind him at his own comp if he was not still with them.

rossi was one of the comp sponsors. their shit was everywhere

including tents on the mountain, at the base, etc. their deal with La

Clusaz to sponsor the comp is a different thing than their personal

sponsorship of Candide. there were plenty of other Rossi riders there

anyway, and as Candide wasnt riding this year they probably didnt mind

too much since there are no iconic photos of the event organizer

slaying the course with some other skis on his feet.

the budget

for this comp was huge. it sounds like negotiations broke down at the

last minute with candide and the rossi/la clusaz contract would have

made it impossible for them to pull out that late, same with the other

sponsors (Virgin Radio, Ski mag, etc) that are not necessarily sponsors

of Candide either.

that ski might be a debadged rossi or it

might not, and it might turn out that hes back with them once details

are hammered out, but the rossi signs everywhere are easily explainable

dont mean anything. it did look rockered. here's a shot we got of him

going up the lift with the bases. guess away.

 
Who cares if he is still using their poles and boots. He has them. Just because he is in negotiations, is he supposed to go get other boots to ski on? Ha. This whole thread is funny.

but anyway.. to all those hating on the bindings being set OH MY GOD SO FAR BACK...

they are his pow skis, and probably set for primarily directional destruction... I'm sure if he was looking to do some switch shit, he would mount them a bit more forward (and i'm sure he has a few pairs of these that are... stop freaking! lol.
 
there are no rules against him buying a rossi binding. it looks like his new skis and rossi bindings, big deal
 
noobs, candide has always had even his park skis mounted way back that just seems to be how he rolls, and it doesn't stop him from landing switch on shit like big bertha so I'd lay off his mounting choice.

also i believe next years 4frnt skis are going to be made in the elan factory now, so expect more problems with your 4 frnts!

haha thats really funny...if you werent such a dumbass you'd know candide mounts his park skis way back like that...hes been riding at recomended on the scratches for years, which is pretty far back.
 
hahaha this thread is ridiculous its like everything anyone thinks they know about the ski industry has come out and been shot down or said five hundred times over.
 
such a dumbass hey, If you weren't so busy thinkin you know everything about candides mount spot, you'd realize those things got way too much taper to do anything but ride powder deeper than anyone is gonna see, and only forwards.
 
who are you to set boundries for a pro model ski? Im sure candide knows a lot more about skis than you. Hell, if you knew more, maybe you could give some imput to the company so Ninthwards would stop falling apart for the [(however long ninthward has existed)] years.
