Candide needs to be in next years tbc movie

No they don't need him. Candide progresses and does crazy stuff, sure, but I don't think he bring the style that makes TBC what it is...
 
they don't need him...it would just be fuckign awesome...i'm pretty sure the techno-euro huge gap movie could find a place for a frenchie who destroys big gaps
 
I didn't say ruin the style, but I think that in a movie that focuses so much in appearance and style, I'd prefer seeing someone who throws nasty zeros over someone who hucks 1440s.. dont saying Candide does, but he's more that type. I still have mad respect for him for doing all that crazy shit though.
 
i think pollard and pep should be in it and i believe craig coker said he wants to film with them. i would like to see candide hit chads again as well

ya dude i totally agree with u, candides style is sooo much different from that of the movie... i think candide is amazing and all and have the upmost respect for him
 
Ya how exactly is candides style so different from the rest of the movie? Just because he goes hugeee....so does mike wilson, and wilson had one of the favorite sections of the movie. You kids have no idea what youre even talking about at this point. BLAH BLAH BLAH
 
i have never really noticed that a movie all contains the same style, candie would fit in perefect with that movie he is knows for his big gaps and thats what tbc was based on

im sorry but i completely disagree. how can there be any style where candide isnt what there looking for? his segment in war is fucking amazing. and hell kill whatever you put in front of him, with style. personally i think hes the best skier around right now. tbc would just give him yet another opportunity to shine and dominate. just think of the story of him killin chads when he was 16.
 
What the hell is Dandoy about? Candide would be such a better skier to kill huge gaps than a lot of the guys in TBC. Who cares if Wilson goes big, Candide's style wins over his any day of the week. Candide is such a versatile skier it's crazy. By versatile, I mean he doesn anything off anything, not the diversity of grabs.

seriously. noone is right or wrong here, just different opinions. people need to be able to respect and acknowledge otheres opinions while expressing there own. unless your talking to b-crew, then you should mock them remorselessly.
 
Oh god... I said I really like Candide and what he's doing, but to me (this is my personal opinion, not a fact, not a lie) he doesn't fit in with TBC. MY OPINION.
 
i thought they needed PEP... then it would have been SICK(er) but still the most kick ass ski video out there. nothings like it, i think thats what they wanted Wski to be like in some ways.
 
If you think my opinion is stupid, that's still just your opinion. You can't state it as a fact.
 
no one can dissagree that candide has his own style, but the question is, does that style apeal to you? Its a personal question therfore there are no right and wrong answers

i dont tihnk they should put all the superjibbers in one movie, that would be dumb... everyone has their own crews and shit, it just makes all vids more exciting if they have a good variation of big names and small namers.
 
everytime i hear the name of that mockery i laugh, candide would of kept tbc what it is, i really cant see him in it though because of his pole planting and his rasta music usually. they could have proved me wrong though
 
candide des go huge but have you seen any new thing from him in the past 4 years??

all he do is push the physical aspect of the sport.

He's a great skier but yea that's not what i want to see in the backcountry
 
the skiers style really doesnt matter. look who has the closing part in a euro techno movie....tanner fucking hall. he is about as far away from tbc style as i think you can get. ostness and rostrup can make any skier fit in their movie.
 
I dunno, but he is definitly pushing the technical part of the sport with his nutty spins on rails and his Candide Invitational with possibly the biggest step-ups I've ever seen in a comp.
 
still instead of doign the same tricks and putting a rail after the jump (dont get me wrong, it is sick) I think he could have tried some new stuff.. his pipe runs are the same since he won the xgames and his bc tricks have been the same since happy dayz or somthing
 
Yeah I see what you mean. It's like he always grabs in the same spot and I agree with that. Maybe just the X-Games isn't really where he wants to shine.
