Whats happening with it? i didnt even realise it was on today, i know last year it was my favourite comp and yet its getting little or no coverage?well from what iv seen anyway

Pretty poor form for Jon and Candide to hold their events the same weekend. The Candide is a dope event, and its been totally overshadowed by the JOI.

 
yeah i know it sucks.. thats why gagniers not in JOI among many other great skiers, there at candides, and the jump although it wont be as perfectly shaped, i bet the "big bertha" will be bigger than the joi jump
 
Well it was Jon that moved the dates, Candide's always been this weekend...

JOI was a week later last year
 
the candide invite is so dope. skipass.com always has good coverage of it.

and its pretty lame of jon to schedule it on the same week (if it was his decision).
 
Why would he reschedule just to be an ass.I bet it's not to be an ass, but that the snow here in sweden is kinda melting away early this year due to global warming(looking a tiny bit at the US) and that all the "stockholmers" has easter break or whatever you call it right know...just a thought.

i'm guessing that a lot of people would chooose the joi over candide's invite, just because jon pays for all the athletes to get laid, drunk, and have a killer weekend

skiing has so many events this season, its not rare that events have been going on at the same time, for example, the Ski Tour at Squaw, and WSC in park city. Just a bigger year than everyone anticipated i think!
 
Oh My-lanta. There is so much shit just right on top of eachother. It's like a skatepark, with the features times 9000.

The Candide was so sick yesterday. It was sunny, warm, and everybody was throwing down. Today sucked because it was windy, firm snow, and the light was flat. Never saw anyone hit that giant table either.
