you know that step down jump/gap they had running do u think that would be bigger than chads or leviathon. I am not sure.

i think it might be a bit bigger because i was watching the vid and it looks like the riders in the air are spining realy slow for the 9 compared to tanners 9

that was a pretty sick and well thought layout for competition. I thought it was perfect. Who won? was it Candide

We win, cause we get to see gnarly footage

I don't rember there actually being a winner to the canide invitationals, but I dunno

dude i've been there while they were measuring. from the kicker to landing its about 122 give or take a few feet for where you build. the original hit by candid was about 120, tanner did like 125-130, but most people do like 112.

cant find the picture with the full distance of the jump but this shows that it is goddamn big

if you look at another thread on this, you'll see that thomas diet went biggest-with a 164 foot cork 5. looks pretty easy to me, dunno what all the fuss is about...

leviathan is 145, not 160....

the candide invite jump was 131 ft this year. do the math.

the jump at the invite lst year was bigger, it was between 140 and 150 ft. dont know why they scaled it down.

and as for the format, there are no "winners". its more a session and a rail jam then a competition. Which is how it should be, because competitions turn into spin to wins, just like, oh....the US Open Big Air, the US Open Slopestyle, the X Games Best Trick, JOI, every other competition this year....

thats why WSI will be so sick! theyre the only ones doing anything about this problem

when the a really freakin big jump is made like leviathon how does the first person whoever goes off it know how much speed to get

but, since chads gap has almost no kick compared to candide inv, candide inv win! biggest jump! thats just what i think it looks like
