Candide DESTROYING his home mountain (killer ending)

where are all the rails? this is stupid.. i didnt see any slow moving rail hits with pretzels and swaps and ballerina spins....

... candide being candide. loved it!

Someone needs to tell Candide that life isn't one big fucking video game. I haven't watched with sound yet since at work, but this may already be my favorite POV edit ever.

Guys, I don't wanna sound cocky and try to make you feel like europe is better, but that kind of terrain, nearly every mountain offers possibilities like that, Balme is particularly awesome but basically anywhere you go in France, that's what you get. We have mountains you have hills.

yea thats cool and all, and france is definitely on my bucket list...

but there are a lot of places in north america with terrain thats unique and pretty damn sick. there is a reason pillow segments happen in british columbia in pretty much every movie. and i challenge you to ski jackson or snowbird for a season and tell me those are "hills." and the little of south america that i have skied was pretty sick too.

that said, candide is the fucking man! world master sifu skiing ninja in his home dojo.

There's a lot more to ski area quality than just size. Europe's awesome but there's a reason Euros go on vacation to the smaller US "hills" and vise versa, both places have advantages and disadvantages.

Plus we have Alaska which make your Alps look like hills... hehe

Not really. Balme is on another level from most resort terrain. Natural rolls and gaps the whole way down, you can see why Candide developed into the skier he is by growing up there. I only rode it once on a bad snow day, but it was still sick.

that was unreal. everything was so huge, and it was basically just side booter shit. noting in that was anywhere near "groomed" or "manicured". just gnarly ass side hits, and going massive.

probably some of the raddest skiing i have ever seen.

By far one of the best skiing videos I've seen in a long time. That road gap was stupidly huge for a resort. I wish I had the terrain and skills that Candide has.

you'd be wrong on that, those skis are medium flex and ultra light. the snow looks choppy, but still pretty soft...and candide is a beast who has incredible balance.

Now I'm not looking to pick a fight here, but to be fair, I just want to put it out there, that somewhere in England there's a house. And in that house there is a closet. Now if you go into the closet, it's pretty neat; you end up in a place called Narnia. Now in Narnia, there's an A-Frame. And in that A-Frame, there's a gun safe. If you take a step into that gun safe, you end up in this beyond mystical place known to most as Mt. Hood Meadows.

Ha, jokes aside, that terrain was gnar, and Candide KILLED it there. Eric P and Eric H are gonna have to move over and let Candide claim the 'Best POV shots' for a while.

watching this, i feel like i've been missing something in skiing. Wide open and natural hits in every direction. damn

i don't know, looked pretty tracked out at some parts to me

but still, no matter what you're riding you're gonna need unreal balance

this and the delorme trick in the same day? just plain awesome.

and remember kids, you don't learn to ski like that dancing on boxes all day.

this edit and his park edit were great, but i wanna see some pow shots from him. Is he not going to be in any movies this year? havent really heard any thing.
