Hey I saw them before but I can't find the pictures of them anymore. If someone could post the pictures of the two models and maybe even tell me the site they got them from that'd be great. The buyer at my ski shop hasn't even heard of them and I want to figure out why and if we can get them,

Knowing more than your shop is never a good sign get a job there and bring them up to date or find a new shop. Most places only know about solomon and are like line what? ect.

i know the cr and candiine are lab so they are stronger than 1080

what length are the candides? Is it basically the same ski as the 1080 or the cr?

and does anyone know the sidecut? Have they changed it? And have they changed the skis? or are they the same as last and laslast years?

I was under the impression that both the CR and candide were just wood core 1080s with almost the same sidecut and everything

I dream of winter.
 
Gaahhh... the 1080s are ugly. The Candides and CRs are ok, I guess.

those are horrible looking. the Candide's are sick though. and i believe they are similar to the skis used at the xgames 2 years ago. real good bases, milled wood core, ect.

im not sure but i read somewhere that the CR's and Candide's are softer than the 1080 and have race bases on them for pipe riding. Not sure though

OK, first off the ski is a tad narrower (79 mm waist) with a little less sidecut and only comes in a 181 length. It is stiffer and damper but lighter IMO than the regular 1080. It`s definitely faster, but for those who don`t wax, the race base won`t make a difference. The edges are considerably thicker so hopefully the edge-cracking problem will be greatly diminished. There is less scoop to the shovel and tail. Cost-wise it should be ~15% more putting it closer to the Armada/4FRNT price-point.
