Candide 2014?

I know you guys are probably getting sick of all the (insert pro's name here) + 2014 Olympics posts... but has anyone else considered the possibility of candide competing for france in slopestyle now that it's been confirmed?

i mean france is stacked in the pipe, but i feel the field there is/will be a lot more open in slopestyle and with candide's movie wrapping production after next winter that still gives him summer 2012-feb. 2014 to train

i mean he already stunned us all with a slopestyle win at x in 2007, and won FWT his first year...
 
You can never count him out, I mean he has won everything thing else which means he is truly competitive. But, he has been working in non-competitive environments for a while. Would love to see it personally.
 
Candide is a god, but I doubt it.

France has many skiers that can throw down at slope. Very, very few, if any really, get recognition and exposure in North America.
 
if it was something he actually cared about (i wouldn't if i got funding for helis and my own movie), and he stayed healthy, there's no fucking doubt he could do well.

 
candide's got the raw talent, but he'd have to really want it and train specifically for it ... and that's probably not as fun as filming in the backcountry, etc.
 
Like everyone else is saying, if Candide wanted to do it, he would. Probably him and Tanner are the only two people I would say that about.
 
I don't think he will since he's been so focused on owning anything backcountry related. He's pretty much the T.Rice of skiing.
