i dont know, its pretty damn close. take into consideration that dumont is a much smaller person, but looks the same size or bigger in the air. however, the edge of the pipe appears higher in candides.

id say dumont by a bit, plus he did it at night, extra balls for that.

candides doesnt even look all that big anymore. you routinely see people going that big at pipe comps nowadays. especially after seeing superhit at wsi, neither of those are anything

fuck that cr went the biggest last year, and it said that simon went 25 feet out but it doesnt look that big in the above pic. and even so candide was goin 20 feet out in the first pic and simon was goin 22.

candide is higher in the first set of pictures i beleive, simon can go just as high as candide though. but candide has more style and goes bigger (i think) on jumps and rails.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

revolution..he changed the face of skiing! dumont brought it down a few notches then brought it back up a few, candide never went into the negatives, always positive..he wins!

dumont might have gone slightly bigger, but candide definelty had the better all around run. Dumont only won because he went 22 ft out

Candide is the man. Dumont has mad skills but Candide is a guy always pushing it. Like to see him back at it next year cause knowing him he will hit a cork 10 first hit.

candides chill but hes french, thats the reason why simon went bigger cause hes american, same as last year cr i like was the real hero of last years x games, that 9 is still the biggest 9 i have ever seen in the pipe

dumont went bigger, but candide wasnt there...... when candide come back he'll just throw a 25 ft 9 on the first hit.

i'm with martock, candide was the first to boost like that, cr was up there too but candide realy threw down 'the day skiing laid pipe' however, you can't realy compare dumont and candide justly because candide was out this year, pit them together with tanner, crighton, olenick, and that would be the best pipe comp

Candide's run I think killed it over Simon D and CR(last year), Candide also got 5 hits in with 4 of them being almost at the 20ft mark and then he got a flair 720(landing) swith for his last trick and it wasn't too shabby(if he wouldn't have landed as low as he did on hi 4th hit would would have gone 15-20ft out for his 5th hit). I don't remember simons run very well but he is nuts for going that big at night.

I give props to all of them for going that huge, thats amazing how they can do that.

As for this year I think Jon Olsson had the best run, he was consistent had huge airs that float 30-40ft down pipe and spun on I think all of them with solid grabs. He may have bee 5 feet shorter than simon (well they said that the judges wanted amplitude so I can't blame them) but still I think Jon Olsson proved he had the most skill out of the whole field so I think he should have won.

crs run last year in the xgames semis was better than simons run and better than candides last year, cr went almost as high and he didnt just straight air he threw some huge tricks. simon mostly straight aired and canidide just did tons of flairs. if cr wouldnt of decked out he woulda won. that 9 by the way was 20 feet out. no one has beaten taht yet!

olsson is da best in my opinion. he has the biggest bag of tricks and can through them just as big and with much more style on every hit
