:( my mom had breast cancer and my grandma on her side died of it...i am sorry for your girlfriend and you, the good news is now a days breast cancer is the #4 most curable cancer and everyday they are finding new things to help. i hope you guys are ok.

I believe it's testicular and I know ovarian is up there too. Anything that can be removed are the easiest to cure (obviously)

17...i think her mom got it when she was really young too. god im so scared, wtif it spreads to her lungs or something? the weird thing is she doesnt want ppl to know. im like one of the few outside her family.

 
17 eh........dude if it is true and im not sayin that it isnt cuz you never know, strange things happen nowadays but 17 is young to get breast cancer but thats just going by statistics so dont get all bitchy with me. if i was in your position i dunno what i would do i mean ive been with my gf for 4 years so hearing that would be heartbreaking even though there always is a good percentage of survival depending on the kind and how much it has spread and etc... but since its breast cancer the worst thing that could happen is they'll amputate one of her breasts

What have the doctors said about it? If it's very early stages of it, which I would assume it is based on her age, then she will probably be fine. I'm sorry though, I hope it all works out.

i get the feeling that its worse than it is. she looks fine, acts perfectly normal, like nothings wrong. that just makes it harder for me. yea, it prob helps her, but theres no else, like othere ppl i know, who know. she has a frend in falmouth, where she lives who might know, but the kid doesnt believe it. ive talked to him too. i dont get it why she does this? is it worse than she telling me?

 
Hey man I am really sorry to hear that. You should really sit down and talk with her and tell her how much you care about her and that you want to know exactly how bad it is. Oh, and I think it is good that she has a positive attitude. I just saw this news story that people with good attitudes are more likely to survive serious diseases. Just make sure that she isn't lying to herself.

 
Dude i promise you, she will be ok. Just think that way, and everything will be ok, i promise you man, she and everything will be ok. just smile and tell her that you will be with her through everything and offer her everything that you have. Im sure you have already done that though.

my grandad, grandmother, uncle, Aunt died of cancer so hopefully they found it early and can send it into remission

 
96% of breast cancer patients in the world survive...the world, that means even in the poverty countries the survival rate is high...so if you guys live in canada or the states or europe the survival rate is prolly more like +98%. and of the 2% of people that die from breast cancer, they are almost always old or suffering from other problems like malnutrition...so tell her and yourself not to worry. just chillax dude

my grandmothers breatscancer just went intermission because of a new procedure. Breast cancer is very common, which is why they are focusing so much on curing it, nowadays there are so many medical wonders out there that could help her. I'll pray for her, best of luck.
