Cancel Mont-Sainte-Anne Trip?????

I live in New Brunswick so out here we have a tiny mountain and some of my friends and I have planned a trip to Sainte-Anne to hit up their park and general mountain. Unfortunately Sainte-Anne is part of the RCR resorts group and the jumps will be take away from their parks. Should I go or should I change the trip to a different place?

Also take into account that we will be 18 in Quebec where the legal drinking age is 18 and will improve our trip in some ways.

I would say don't go. If they notice a decline in total ticket sales this year, and hear of a general boycott by park skiers, they're likely to re-think their decision. I'm not really up to date on the whole issue though.

I wouldn't go... if they are not going to cater to the freeski scene and we are all complaining about it we should show solidarity and not give them our money. If we just complain and still ski their mountains then we really have nothing to complain about. I would suggest Tremblant if you are looking for somewhere in that area with good park skiing.

yah tremblants the way to go, cept you gotta have a helmet to ride the park, found out the hard way last year(had to buy one) but it was the most powder of the year so i didn't spend to much time in the park

yah, i have to wear a helmet in my park anyways so it will be no big change for me.. I'm seriously looking into tremblant now :)

Actually i would say St Sauveur/Avila.....or even Val St Come. Those are alot cheeper then Tremblant, and have WAY WAY better parks.

fuck rcr i dont know much about the other resorts but i went to tremblant once and it was pretty cool

Agreed.

Overall, I'd change the plans and go there. Do not support RCR if you have alternative options available.

well I will be skiin all over the mountain but a park is def. key in case the pow doesn't come through
