if it weren't for BT eating up massive bandwidth, we would all enjoy more consistent, faster internet.
When the bandwidth is being all used up, ISPs HAVE to throttle traffic so they can make good on their promises to consumers. and since BT traffic is used for piracy 90% of the time (and as stated eat bandwidth like a fat kid eats oreos) that is what gets throttled the most, among other things.
