i was searching the net, and found a few very helpful sites, but i can barely understand them with all there fancy jargon and wisetalk. Soooo, NS.com it is. Has anyone here ever had to get a work permit for canada. I live in the states, and am gonna work up there i think, and i'll need a work permit. If you have done it, how is the process, whats involved, are there age restrictions or anything? thanks.

All I can say is they don't like giving them out. The only time I had a chance to get one was working for Intrawest. I had to work for them for one more year (working managment at a ski-shop) before they would give me one to move to whistler. In retrospect I'm glad it never happened.

its a bit of a lenghtly process.. dont except to get one for this season... there are ways around needing a work visa tho i just dont remeber what they are right now.. i know student visas work too and thier easier to get
