my friend and i from north carolina want to go skiing this march in canada, but we don't know where to go. we're pretty low on cash and don't want to go all the way to whistler or anything. can anyone tell me a good value and/or a cool place to go? thanks!

well if you want good skiing go west way west, BC and Alberta. DON'T even think of Manitoba, its in the praires and the praires don't have mountains just little ditches where they ski, i have never skied ontario but i guess Blue mountain (hill) is ok from what i hear, short. If you go to Quebec look up Tremblant, st.anne and Le Massiff. But i say again if you want good snow powder not ice go west

Yea I second tremblant, I haven't been there in a while but apparently they have done mad improvements on the park, and the terrain aint too bad for the east coast either.

nah man quebec is pretty good...u can hit up tremblant and st-anne, and even tho jay peak isnt in quebec its worth a visit

I dont know why you guys are so set on Canada...Colorado Utah and Wyoming are probably just as close as tremblant is to NOrth Carolina and those areas dont suck nearly as much. Okay maybe colorado

Tremblants the shit..they're part of Intrawest so you know it's gonna be good..its been voted #1 in the East for the past 4 or 5 years too...check out the Beavertails stand too.

Go to the Rockies! Check out Kicking Horse (best powder!) and Castle Mountain, umm, Norquay, Nakiska (has a sweet park).
