whats up... im goin to up whistler tommorw from portland oregon, i was wondering if it is sketchy to being bud across the boarder... i hear they have dogs there now... and that its pretty risky.... i need some advice asap... thanks
 
Depends on how big the crossing is. I just did the whole border thing last week and all the guard did was ask us three questions, one of which was a joke, and told us to get on our way. However, this was in northern montana, it's probably a little more strict in washington. Going into canada is a lot easier though, so if you're bringing anything across the border, make sure it's going north.
 
Im from Quebec man, and my parents live in Burlington.. the situation is kinda the same with BC and Quebec, all the weed goes from north to south, not the opposite. Now if there are gonna be dogs, i dunno, but what i can assure you is that from all the times ive crossed the border (and ive crossed it MANY MANY times), ive never seen a single K9 unit.. so if your planning on passing a lil bit, and by a lil bit i mean an eight MAX, you can risk...

But my personnal advide is not to try it, and by some good ol'buds in whistler, go up to staff house at the blackcomb gondola second station and youll find everything you need buddy, and trust me on this one, ive spend three summers over there.

its completely chill, i crossed the border just north of sandpoint last month and they just looked at our papers and sent us through. we had a giant phish sticker on the back window, and they didnt even make us pop the trunk. i was kinda surprised.
 
yeah you're almost sure to be fine, but why risk it at all? you're going to whistler man, probably one of the easiest places in the world to pick up good bud. ive never been in the winter but in summer ive never had to ask more than a couple people in the skatepark before someone will chop to me.
 
this is a little extreme, but if you have one of those kitchen vaccum sealers, you could vaccum seal it and pack it away nicely. My friend honostly had a decent amount in his locker vaccum sealed out senior year of highschool. they had a dog raid one day and honostly he didn't get busted at all.

Now i'm not sure if that was total luck, but i'm sure it help to a certain extent.
 
Shouldn't be too hard, just don't be suspicious and they won't search you. Most border patrols don't really be too hardcore about it. If they do decide to search you though, you're pretty much fucked. You pretty much have to be hotboxing your car while the guy riding shotgun is holding your pipe for them to actually search you though, especially at this time of year.
 
and much better in canada, If they tell you a joke at least laugh cause if you don;t or look nervous, then that is suspicious

i would say that if you're gonna go through the van border dont look suspicious going there or coming back. like dont go through at like 2 in the morning. i think the patrol folks at van are sooo anal, i live in montana and the border through to fernie is so chill, they always ask me like 2 questions dont even look at our passports and say, ok have a great day! hmm yeah and make sure there's nothin too sketch on your record.
 
Yeah you never know......I've been searched randomly at times I had nothing to hide, and haven't been at times I did. But its soooo easy to buy in BC so theres no justifiable reason.

Now, if you bring coke up, you can trade that for bud at a good price! Probably better money's worth.
 
honestly?!!!

A friend of mine was crossing the border with his parents when he was 4 or 5, and when they were stopped at the border he jumped out of the car and yelled "They're no my real parents!" and sprinted for the nearest borderpatrolman...needless to say they were held up at the border for a while
 
it all depends on the guard and the crossing,

big crossing=lot of questions/k9 units.

small crossing= not so many questions and less workers= easier to not get caught
 
yup, if I want some, I buy it up there. SO easy too, the cops over-look it. I wouldn't risk bringing it over, but that's just me.
