CAN YOU SKI THE SPK KAOS ALL MOUNTAIN???

I have the opportunity to get a pair of SPK Kaos' but im a litle unsure if they are right for me. I ride park but i ride a lot of all mountain too. CAn anyone please give me some insight to this boot and if it is worth getting?  Thanks 
 
no its literily imposible

if u go like 10 feet outta the park the will blow up and u cant warrenty them once that has happend

dude use your fuking head and boot can ski all mountain its all just personal preffrence

i have last years spks and they are fine for me everywhere but like i said its a personal preffrence
 
Haha thats exactly what I think when people say shit like "You will seriously get raped by a gaint ape if you ski outside of the park with SPK boots dont even think of trying that" Ill just be another re-enforcer and say that it is all about what you like, personally I love my SPK boots, they are very forgiving, and I have never worn a better boot.
 
yea i agree the hype about the spk is way over rated, like how is it diffrent carving into a jump then carving on piste, its a great boot get it.
 
yeah dude the kaos can go all mountain but as for the kreation, its flex is a little too much if your going aggressive skiing
 
The boot can go anywhere, but if you charge really hard then the huge amount of flex gets real annoying on really steep or heavy powder. The SPK is great in the park and fine on groomers, it is just the extremely steep that you feel akward in them.
 
the ski doesn't work outside the park because it was designed for the park. If you try to take it out of the park it will stop working
 
The hard goods buyer for my company skied them a couple of days last winter and said they definitely didn't hold him as quite as securely as what he'd normally wear (he has a narrow foot though) but he was still surprised how precisely they still skied. Bear in mind he is in his mid to late thirties but not old-school and that he had told us the previous year that we weren't carrying the boot because it was absolute garbage. He was very surprised how it skied but still not as precise as something that fitted properly.
 
I don't want to make a new thread so the bumble bee pros fit my foot perfectly and I have an opportunity to get them pretty cheap, so would they be too stiff to be comfortable for park riding or no?
 
hahahahahah, yea, words, like in mt hood in 80 degree weather, my feet felt freezing cold. oh yea, but since my boots fit now, i bet at tremblant in -20 condish that they will feel all warm and snuggly. i agree, but not enough said
 
that sounds good, because i like the fit its just that I was worried they would be too stiff but thats good to know
 
That's what I got as my everyday boot. The flex index is 95 which is actually stiffer than my old X Waves which I thought were a great all mountain boot.
 
I have seen some of the worst suggestions in this thread every. DO NOT get a boot that just feels comfortable...Go to a reputable store, get fitted for a boot, see what boots fit your properly then go from there. There may only be one or two boots that really work for you. ie. if you have a really high instep, nordica has a nice overlap which relieves a lot of pressure off of the instep. If you have a wide foot, dalbello has a the proton series, etc. Dont just chose a boot based off looks at what other people say.

hahaha i still love the comment near the top that you will get raped by a giant ape if u take these all mountain. I mean yeah they are a softer boot but it is all preference. there are people who would enjoy a softer boot instead of being in something really stiff. its all what you are into
 
if u really charge out of the park u will find the 2 buckle system will not feel like ur foot is in tight enough the flex is fine and if ur not really aggresive out of the park u will be fine
