Can you Plasti-Dip carpet?

Yes you did read that right. The town home I am renting has carpet that runs right up to the edge of the shower. Not the greatest design because when you open the show door, a far amount of water drips onto the carpet, resulting in mold underneath. I've cleaned up all of the mold under the carpet, and now I'm looking for a solution to prevent mold from coming back. A bath mat won't really help because water drips into the corners. That's why I'm curious if plasti-dip might work. Will it stick to the carpet and create a seal? And will I be able to rip it off of the carpet if it doesn't work out too well?

What kind of retard puts carpet in a bathroom? OP you should contact your landlord and ask them to do something about it. Tell them about the mold problem and that they should replace the carpet with vinyl or linoleum floor. You shouldn't have to spend money fixing something that is the owners fault.
