Can you move bindings from 1 set of skis to another often?

I have my regular skis that i ride over the winter, then i have my urban skis that ride in the backyard and what not. i only have 1 pair of bindings though.

is it safe, or smart to be moving my look px12 jibs from one ski to another a few times a year? or is it going to increase the chance of them ripping out on my good skis?

i self mounted them on my urbans, and they'r set at 9 din if that helps in any way.

I THINK that if you remount bindings in holes that are already drilled it SEVERLY weakens it. They have a much better chance of ripping out that way. I would look for a cheap, used pair or binds for the urban skis. To keep it safe and do it your way would be drill new holes everytime i think.

damn it, cause iv already switched them 3 times. started on good skis, switched, did some rails, switched, skiied some, switched again did some rails, then there back on my good skis now, damn it 4 times! i do want to remount my good skis further up anyways... but the urbans already have 16 holes per ski so... i would love to just buy a cheap pair of look px 12's cause i dont want to drill the urbans again b/c if i did im fairly sure i would break them this summer, almost a gaurentee.

it was a binding and ski system made by line.

1 set of bindings that you could move from ski to ski using inserts like on snowboards. the issue is that they were heavy bindings, that broke easily and injured many people. my skis have the inserts but i use px12 jibs

You can get a pair of 10 DIN's for so cheap, probably less than $50 brand new if you look around. You probably won't need more than 10 din for urban unless you are a big guy.

Make your own inserts. Drill your skis for threaded inserts in the existing holes. epoxy them in. screw in and out your bindings as you please.
