Is it possible to mount look p12s (115mm width) on a 116mm waist ski (ie. EHPs) without having to bend/modify at all? The look site says the brake is 100mm-117mm but everywhere else it's listed as 115mm with no further clarification.

thoughts or anyone with any experience?
 
It will most likely fit without any modification.. as its built to fit a 115 ski with NO contact.. and I doubt they really design to that tight of a clearance. Also, a slight bend like that really isn't a big deal.. I had 75~ waist width brakes on my anthems
 
alright sweet thanks for the info. the look site says up to 117mm so i think it'll be alright i guess we'll find out.
 
You have to remember that the waist is the skinniest part of the ski. Unless you're mounting the ski well above center (which is extremely stupid), the brake will be located back from the center, where the ski is wider. This means that the part of the ski where the brake will be is wider than the 116mm waist of the ski. However, it shouldn't be a big deal. As long as the brake is a similar size, you should be able to bend it out to make it work.

I'd say you're good to go, you're just going to have to bend it a bit.
