Can you make concrete slide??

I got a cool concrete ledge at my university I wanna get a clip on, except it is made of concrete. Could I just pour some water on it to make slidable or will I need something more??

What Dan said. Ice that thing up a couple of times definitely check for bare spots before you hit it. I'd pop on top of it instead of jumping and immediately gripping on hard.

Sometimes water works too, depends on the porosity of the concrete. Like concrete without any voids you probably can hit it virgin, or wax at the most, but if it’s some heavy duty conc that’s got hella voids you might need an ice layer

Woodward killington had a concrete wall feature last year, it slid surprisingly nice but destroyed my skis. I also think it was a different type of concrete that was less flat and had more bumps in it to create less friction.

aggregate concrete has way more friction than smooth concrete lol
