Can you hike spirit or what?

ya you can hike but the make a big line of snow down the middle for a comp later but i don't know whats happening this year cause we just got some rain and its feels like 70 right now

yes, you can hike, i think. ive seen people do it and not get in trouble. you can also ski in the woods, build kickers, and ski as fast as you want as long as you dont hit someone
 
when i lived in duluth, some 5+ years ago, spirit was PUBLIC PROPERTY, national forest. meaning you can play hopscotch on the hill any time you like. dont know if its changed...
 
why are you in duluth right now, and why didnt you go to spirit it was actually really nice today, jon, ian, wayne and i went it was really fun, it wasnt slow or that slow, and aaron was there too
 
There are no new owners, unless you're talking about someone who moved to duluth.... Spirit is city owned. As long as the park guys don't chain up the rails ypu will be able to hike.
 
deffintly a good day, way better than i expected even though i could only get enough speed for the last jump.

yeah thats what prins said to do at MSO, or so i think it was him, then spirit got upset but yeah you can, its just hiking that is a bitch
 
There is no new management!!! everyone keeps saying this but the only new person since last year is the director of the nordic center and I don't think this effects us. Same management as last year!!
 
jon you are wrong, there is new management, you have just been blinded by the man, they have gotten to you, but they havent gotten to me, not yet, oh they are tricky. trying to posion my cereal, and have hit men waiting at my door, but they wont take me down, not with out a fight
 
well everyone says there is but Jernt, how can we listen to a guy with the name Jernt, i bet its a combo of ERT and JON, and is typing ERT really faster than JON, well i just tried it and it is, so good for you Jernt, you killed everyone in your wagon before any of your class mates
 
Even though there is no new management this year, things did change. The management did not like all the people hiking in the pre-season because, like dave said, rails and such were left on the hill.... to much extra work while they were trying to focus on making snow.

I wouldn't think anything will be different from last season for the post-season. Although last year the park crew learned about us setting alot of things up, but seemed cool with it. My only fear is that they will chain some of their rails up to keep them for the damage comp. Knowing the park crew though, they will probably be too lazy to take anything out before hand.

for anyone who doesnt know yet, SPIRIT IS CLOSED. you can hike as much as you want though, because Spirit is PUBLIC CITY PROPERTY, so the only way they can kick you off is by pulling your pass and then you can still hike because you wouldnt bring your pass for that
 
you can still get the same price through October 31 of next year. you can also get your pass during the ski swap for the reduced price scince it is before that date if you dont want to buy it online or make an extra trip next fall.
