Can you get into med school with a 28 on the mcat?

there are schools that you can get into with a 28, but most med programs require 30-35 mcat scores. i guess i should have said it depends on where you want to go to med school as to whether or not you will want to take it again.

Do you realize that the median age on this site is around 14 and the vast majority probably does not know what a MCAT is? And by that I mean I have no idea if that score will get you into med school.

it depends, how old are you? how bad do you want it, do you have experience in health care, have you volunteered, 30 is considered competitive, you really should take it again with the intention of getting at least 30, 2 points and your options will get a lot broader.

How are you in a position to be getting into med school and not know what score you need to get in? Did you just show up to the test for fun one day? That being said. You aren't going anywhere half-way decent with a 28. Take it again.

haha actually i did take it for fun just to see how i would do. I didnt study at all and i havent even taken some of the courses that were needed for it. verbal section fucked me, i got good on physics and biology

if you dont want to believe me cause it hurts your self esteem then thats your own pathetic issue

i have not taken biochem and there were biochem questions on the exam that i pretty much had to guess

i never took any courses or study guides except the night before i looked at a practice test to see how the computer test thingy worked.

but seriously thanks for not believing me you made me feel much better about my 28. And dont talk to me about your brother seriously georgetown university med school used to be good now its a bunch of metro tools and cosmo bitches who think their badass cause theirs so many shows about hospitals these days

In Scranton PA, they are opening a brand new medical university. They are giving money like crazy for kids to go there. Im sure a 28 would get you in there since its new. And they pay for your first 10,000 of tution each year automatically if your in their first class. Plus scholarship, that can be a cheap way to become a doctor.
