Can you camp in the A-basin Parking lot?

i have a loose plan for the day after i graduate high school and have my Eagle scout ceremony (may 18th) to drive my tundra up to a basin with a mattress and a cooler and live for like 4-6 days. is this legal/allowed by the resort?

Yes. I have done it before. just realize that it is a North facing parking lot and you will be freezing to death in the morning. Even in May.

camped in 4 feet of snow in 10 degrees many times #eaglescout. i cant wait!!!!

theyve been cracking down on it in the last couple of years. theres a good free camping spot just down the road in montezuma thats right on the river and i think you can camp there free for 4-5 days.

Last I checked camping was ok in the very top lot. Just make sure if you do camp to park up against a snow bank out of the way so you're not in the way when they park cars.

I believe no. There are free campsites near by.... Fire will help at night...

If it were me though I would camp down towards keystone cause it will be warmer and more protected from the weather should there be any.
